Fisher's First Christmas

With school all finished up, we were ready (or not) for Christmas. For a while there it seemed like it would never end. Fisher got plenty of toys to keep him busy for the next 20 min.

7 Months

Here's the latest...I actually decided that I'd throw in a few sentences this time.

Fisher went in last Monday for his 6 month visit to the doctor. He now weighs 17.5 pounds. He is in the 50th percentile for weight, 78th percentile for height, and 35th percentile for the size of his noggin. He also received a nice cocktail of shots that gave him a fever for a few days but he is doing really well now and back to his screaming self (screaming screams of joy). He isn't quite crawling yet but manages to drag himself along and roll wherever he wishes. He doesn't quite sit up by himself either- he can, it's just that he'd rather spazz out and try standing up.

Emily and I are both in school and can't wait til it's over. She goes at night and I run back and forth from UVU and work. We are both working on 10-12 page english research papers which might be the end of us. She is working on biology, and geology assignments and tests while I am working on a structural steel class, trig, and a 3D architectural modeling class (Revit). We now know how easy we had it going to school without a baby!!! It's a good thing he's got his Grandparents around so we can dump him off when we need to buckle down and get things done. In the end, Fisher pretty much bosses us around all day- which is fine I guess since we both like havin him around. Emily has so much patience with him and is the best mom ever. All props go to Em. Anything good said about Fisher is because of her.

Fisher loves chillin in his walker and takin naps. He was very sweaty when he woke up- proving he does have some Sorensen in him.
